I had no idea how much this little one would wear me out! Being nearly 3, it was like trying to keep up with a bouncy ball! I forget how short their attention span can be. She was so silly and fun. I’ve been editing this session all day and I’m thrilled. Just wanted to share one.

This photo was SO hard to capture. Her dad and I were having the hardest time getting her to look into the camera. We finally got her to sit still (or lay still) for a minute and she asked him to lay with her. Perfect! As I was snapping away I abruptly ran out of memory card space!! Quickly I changed my card and snapped this right before she moved. Thank god I did, it’s the best of the lot of them.

If you ever need to brighten your day, just go spend it with a kitten. During this edit, I was literally cooing out load at each photo. Deciding which photos to share was nearly impossible.

Meet Tommy Pickles

We thought the pink background fitting (even though he’s a boy) because it brought out the pink in his little nose. :)

Just like a baby, this little guy tuckered out.

When he woke up we did some more size comparison, this time using a boot.

A friend of mine just got a new kitten. As soon as I found out I just had to bring my camera over to take photos of this little baby. He’s only 3 weeks old..

Chris is a friend of mine from TheManRegistry.com, an excellent resource website for grooms. He and I went to the same college in St. Louis Missouri and have loads of mutual friends but never had met until just a few weeks ago. He and his wife had a superbowl party at their home that the boy dragged me to. I’m so glad he did!

Since then, Chris and I have become fast friends.  When he was in need of some new shots for the site, I was more than happy to take this headshot session for him yesterday afternoon.  At first I was a little concerned that the sun was hiding yesterday but these came out so beautifully.

We had so much fun goofing around with different “looks” and poses.  Chris was a blast!

Finally we did a few ring concepts for his site.

Chris is awesome. Check out his site if you haven’t. It’s a great resource for sure. They are about to launch a vendor site too which is going to be fabulous no doubt. This shoot was so much fun!! I can’t wait for the next headshot/portrait session.
