nancy + adam engagement

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting an engagement session for Nancy and Adam when I was in Saint Louis about two weeks ago. We decided to have our shoot at the famous Forest Park. We ran around laughing and snapping away.

Nancy has the most amazing eyes. I love how they sparkle when she looks at Adam.

We bolted over to St. Louis local coffee shop, Kayaks to snap a few photos before we lost the light. ancy and Adam met at this coffee shop and then bonded over a poetry class.

Aren’t they adorable?

Thanks so much to Nancy and Adam for being so fantastic. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in October!

Drum roll please…. Tada! It’s official, I’ve gone to a flash website site. I love the sleek look and easy navigation of this new site, plus it’s loads easier to update than before. You’ll find loads of new images on my site, so feel free to take a look around!

This week I’ve been home in St. Louis attending loads of Cardinals baseball games and of course shooting! This session marks the fourth session in one week! Today, I had the pleasure of shooting Emma’s senior session. On Friday, at a Cardinals game with Emma’s mom, she mentioned they still needed senior photos for her. I said, “What are you doing Sunday?”

I am so pleased with how these photos came out! Although we had great shooting conditions (besides it starting to rain at the very end of the shoot) Emma is absolutely stunning and looks fantastic in front of the lens.

“Daddy, you crack me up,” says Mady as we’re walking down the street. She was one of the most entertaining almost 3 year olds. We had a lot of fun on this beautiful Saturday afternoon.

getting bored of photos… so cute

This last photo warms my heart. Mostly because someone I showed it to said it reminded them of a scene (at the end of the film for those of you who have seen it) from Benjamin Button. I adored that film and the shot this image resembles.
