I’ve known Michelle and Jared since they first started dating about 4 years ago.  It’s been amazing to watch their love grow and then to be asked to be apart of telling their story, I melt.  I have such wonderful clients and feel truly lucky to get to travel to their locations to be apart of their lives.

Meet Daisy, the sweetest miniature pincher ever.

Michelle and Jared live in Hoboken, NJ, just on the other side of New York City.  This is where we decided to do their engagement photos to show friends and family their lives here.

Michelle and Jared will be getting married this August in Chicago, IL, where Michelle is originally from, and also where they met and fell in love.  I cannot WAIT to be apart of this day.

You can’t tell me this isn’t a beautiful family.  They are such sweet people with two amazing boys!

Meet Patrick.

Patrick is two years old.

He likes pinecones.

And flowers.

And we totally fell in love with each other.  He is absolutely the SWEETEST little boy and says my name SO cute.  He would be running around giggling and race over to me, yelling my name, hug my legs and say “Hi Shannon!  Good to meet you!!”  I melt.

He also has an adorable baby brother, Nicholas, whom he adores.

Nicholas got sleepy… poor little guy.

So Patrick and I played a while longer.

I had SO much fun with this family and especially little Patrick.  His mother says he keeps asking about me and wouldn’t stop talking about me that night!  TOO cute.  Of course I’m not much better, I can’t stop talking about how adorable and fun he was either!

Some of you may remember little Lulu from her days as a pink poodle on this post.  I’ve never seen a baby with so much spirit and such beautiful blue eyes!  She’s such a delight to be around, almost makes my job too easy.

First of all, I have to thank St Louis for not only having fantastic weather the week I was in town, but also being the exact week that all the trees and flowers were blooming.  No, my sinuses were not quite as thankful for the blossoms, but my camera sure was.

Second, I still can’t believe what an absolutely STUNNING Aram & Arthur were.  I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I love my clients.

They brought their pup along too!  Meet Orlando.  Isn’t he adorable?

I could NOT get enough of these beautiful blooming trees.  To die for.

Time for dinner! Arthur is a sushi chef and made us the most AMAZING sushi for dinner.  Seriously. The BEST way to end an engagement session is with a custom made sushi dinner.  Again. I love my clients.

When Aleah of Good Life Events asked if I was interested in collaborating on an totally fun photo session for Nonpareils online magazine, of course I insisted we do a fun stylized shoot for them as well.  They had this great idea to get dressed up and ride their cruisers down the beach.

And of course with a name like “Good Life Events” how could we not show how they love to work?  On the beach!

And finally, a fantastic retro 70s beach session was in order.

If these next two don’t say “the good life” I don’t know what does.
