kathy & jonathan: engaged!

This was quite possibly the hardest session I’ve ever had to edit.  As I mentioned on their sneak peek, Kathy and Jonathan are both SO photogenic, not to mention tons of fun and totally fantastic together. It’s not often you see two this completely head over heels in love with each other, you can tell they totally still give each other butterflies and their faces light up at the thought of the other. It felt so amazing to be witness to it.

I asked him to tell her something to make her laugh and within seconds she was laughing.  Love that.

I had intended on bringing my holga with me for this shoot but it was so HOT in LA that I was afraid she’d melt!  So I just had to take this and do a little holga cropping/editing thanks to photoshop.  I know it’s not the same but… I like it anyway.

We had some AMAZING light!

We found this really amazing old building that we just had to take some shots in front of.

And these stairs were fantastic for photos.

I just LOVE the way her eyes sparkle every time she looks at him. 

Upon seeing this sculpture, sometimes referred to as “the wedding cake”, how could we resist?

Look at that ring!  That’s a man, ladies.

And what kind of man would Jonathan be if he didn’t carry his lovely lady’s purse?

Can’t wait for the wedding you two!! Although if it’s going to be this hard to edit the engagement photos I can’t even imagine editing the wedding! Ha! :)
