now booking: fall family sessions!
Although I can hardly believe it (I swear I blinked and it’s August!), it’s that time of year again! Fall family session time! I’m already starting to get inquiries for sessions and I cannot WAIT to see you and how your kiddos have grown and changed!
Here at Shannon Lee Images, we believe families come in all shapes and sizes! We accept any type of “family”. Engagements, anniversary sessions, maternity, bring your new or old pup, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, even a best friend! All are welcome to join us for any type of “family session”!
This is hands down our busiest time of year, so to do our best to accommodate as many of our awesome clients (and potentially new clients) here’s what we’re doing to get this party started.
We have 2 options for you!
- Family session in our Burbank park. AVAILABLE NOW!
- 45-minute (60 minutes slotted) family session in our park! We slot a full hour for your session so if you need to change a diaper or grab a quick snack for a hungry kiddo, no worries!
- First dibs on popular dates/times! We’re giving you all of August to book before we announce mini sessions in September!
- More photos to enjoy! These photos usually produce 30-50+ gorgeous images. Including those that are more of a “lifestyle” approach, meaning more than just a portrait of you staring and smiling at the camera, we also capture you being YOU. When you look back at this time, you get to relive this little piece of it through these types of images.
- Up to 6 family members then +$25 per family member.
- Available on weekends!

- Session cost: $500
- Mini family sessions in our Burbank park. Book here!
- 30-minute sessions in our park. To accommodate as many clients at a more budget-friendly price, these sessions are scheduled back to back. We start at your time and end 30 minutes later!
- Mini sessions usually produce roughly 10+ gorgeous images.
- Up to 4 family members then +$25 per family member.
- Available on weekdays and possibly 1-2 Sunday dates.
- Session cost: $395
ABOUT OUR BURBANK PARK
We have been photographing families for almost 10 years and have never found a location as consistent and beautiful as this park! It has the BEST light almost all times of day, and let’s be honest, without great light, there wouldn’t be great photos! There’s tons of street parking so if you leave something in the car, easy to grab! There’s very little traffic, so it’s extra safe for those runaway kiddos. It’s near an equestrian center, so sometimes horses come by! Although hands down, our absolute favorite part is there is NO playground, so we don’t have to listen to your kiddo asking 100 times to go play on the slide. It’s a total win!
Have you had photos here before? Awesome! You totally understand how amazing this park is! This same background actually allows you to focus on seeing how much your kiddos have changed and grown since your last session! If you decide to hang photos together, they will have a similar cohesive look, but show how much has changed. We much prefer to focus on the emotion of you as a family and the cute changing faces of your kiddos rather than a background. This park allows us a safe, beautifully lit canvas in which to do just that! Another way we’d suggest having a different look is to not wear the exact same outfits you wore to your previous session(s). If you are absolutely more concerned with the background than that cute growing face of your kid(s) or the emotion of you as a family, it’s a huge park, so we can always do a different spot to vary it up.
If you simply MUST have a different location, or you have a fun “lifestyle” idea in mind (i.e. going to Disneyland or the farmer’s market) please email us (shannon@shannonleeimages.com) for availability & our additional cost for the extra travel time, entrance fees, etc.
