ryan & maureen
Originally, I was to shoot this wedding with my friend, Louella, who unfortunately threw her back so I was on my own! Maureen was the most relaxed bride. When told of the news, she simply said, “Well i’m sure someone would have a camera even if no one was able to make it!”
They had the most beautiful ceremony. Very small and very intimate.
Ryan was not only married Maureen, but also her two beautiful children. They all put sand into a vile to initiate the beginning of their family.
After the ceremony, Ryan and Maureen and I snuck off to take a few photos.
The reception was stunning and loads of fun for the couple and guests. It was wonderful to see their closest friends around them, enjoying their day.
Before their first dance and other traditional wedding events, they played a “newlywed” game which was very funny. Her brother, the DJ, asked them questions like “who is a better cook?” They would hold up a card with either a “B” or a “G” on it to see if they matched. It was quite clever.
