jennifer + brian :: engaged! :: coto de caza, ca

Being a photographer, I typically like to have an idea of what to expect before I arrive to a session.  Somehow, when Jennifer told me that there would be a horse, I for some reason pictured stables with horse butts in them.   Imagine my surprise when I arrive to find this white beauty awaiting us!  Brian’s mother lives in the beautiful neighborhood, Coto De Caza, and their family friend owns this handsome boy.  I felt like a kid in a candy store getting to not only photograph a real horse, but to get to do any poses I wanted with this beautiful guy!

Of course, that wasn’t all.  This is the kind of engagement session that just kept getting more epic and more epic as it went on.  Little did I know how crafty Jen really is when she showed up with handmade paper flowers and a handmade raindrop background to hang in the trees.  We rounded everything off with some giant bubbles which turned out SO much better than we could have ever anticipated.  With a couple this creative, I can’t wait for the wedding!
