out of the office & a giveaway!

Yes, I will be out of the office this week and will have limited access to emails, so please bear with me.. but in the meantime, enter my promotion!
Last year, I did a very similar promotion and I was seriously floored by the response! I couldn’t believe how many people commented and how thankful everyone was. It was a very uplifting and inspiring thing to see! I laughed and even cried at some of the responses. I loved seeing how clever everyone could be, so much so, that I wanted to do it again this year.
It’s simple! All you have to do is comment on THIS post to enter yourself into a drawing to win!
Here’s the tricky part – you must finish this sentence – “I am thankful for…” It can be anything you want, new socks, a brand new job, lots of candy from trick-or-treating, or tell me a story about something amazing that happened..
I am thankful for… all of the amazing people in my life. My family, friends, and of course, my amazing clients. Without all of you, I don’t know how I’d be where I am today. I’m thankful for my fantastic business that is booming, an amazing, amazing year, and all the thoughtful feedback you all provide me. I can’t wait to give back to you!
You can comment as many times as you wish, but you’ll only be entered into the drawing once.
Help by spreading the word! Tell your friends, neighbors, uncles, strangers, everyone! I want to get as many comments of thankful-ness as possible. Last year, I got 30+ comments. This year I want to get even more! Tell you what, if I get enough names, I’ll give away more prizes! Don’t want to win a prize? That’s ok! Just tell me what you’re thankful for!

I am thankful for my now-fiance!!!
I am thankful for second chances, the simple but profound nature of forgiveness, and the intensity of steadfast love.
I am thankful Shannon for being able to have met the most amazing people doing what I love – photography. You are definitely on the list of amazing people I am thankful to know! This culture has been so inviting to me personally that I am thankful for everyone who has helped me along the way. Without them, you included, I would not be where I am today :)
I am thankful for my husband Erich’s green eyes, because in his eyes, I see my present and my future, I see the struggles that make us stronger and the celebrations that we will share together. In his green eyes I see my family, my best friend and my band mate:) I am thankful for his green eyes :)
I am thankful for the great job my wife has done raising our two little girls. :-)
Perfect I actually did a post on my blog about this very thing. Here is my post of what I am thankful for this year;
http://melancholywaters.blogspot.com/2010/11/being-thankful.html
I am thankful for many things…….. My wonderful friends and amazing family, that I can find love in music, that God is always there for me, and that I have an AMAZING person to look up to(YOU) I an thankful fo many other things but these are just a few.
I am thankful for a second chance to live my life on my terms, for my two beautiful daughters, for being reminded of how strong I am, for my health, and for my talent. I have been given a gift this past year and that is realize all of this about myself… and I am most thankful for that.
I am thankful for my two beautiful boys and for a husband that is very supportive. I am thankful to have my mother in HEAVEN looking over my shoulder as my guardian angel, although I would love to have her still with me. I am thankful to have found such a wonderful photographer that has since turned into a great friend. I am thankful that I have a wonderful family and friends.
I am thankful for my beautiful daughter who makes me proud every day! I love you!
I’m thankful for my new job and getting back into the event industry that I am so passionate for
I am thankful for finally finishing pharmacy school, passing my pharmacy board examinations the first time around, having a well-paying job that allowed me to award myself with a new car upon graduation, my family who can always make me laugh, my friends who I can tell anything to, my fiance who is my best friend in life and partner in crime, my dog who is my cuddle buddy, being able to curl up in a warm bed on a cold and dark night and read a good book, having a roof over my head, clothes on my back and planning a beautiful wedding so my best friend and I can live happily ever after :)
I am so thankful for my family! Thank God for my husband, who always has grace for me; for my daughter, who continually teaches me to be creative and patient; for my son, who just has a happy and sweet nature. And boy! Am I ever so thankful for the inventor of the Diaper Champ! LOL I’m thankful that I could never possibly come up with enough words for everything I am thankful! Bright sunshine, blue skies, white clouds, rain, a light breeze, slumber, fireplaces, hot cocoa, and mostly people to share those with! :) Somebody stop me! Ok, I’m going now… Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
In a year that has been so rough and tough on my family, it’s hard to see through all the bad and see any good. Since it is Thanksgiving, I have to find some good. This year I did give birth to my baby boy Maxx. We do have a roof over our head, a warm bed to sleep in, food on our table. We also have most of our health. I know that things can always be worse, so I’m very thankful they are not!
I’m adding another comment just beacuse I am so grateful this year! I am thankful for fate and God’s plan…everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the ride of a lifetime…and I’m thankful for short lines at Social Security!!
I am thankful that in continuing to redefine what success means to me, it doesn’t mean I’m failing to meet my goals, but that my definition is expanding to include beautiful failures and bizarre achievements.
That life isn’t about the destination so much as it is the journey. That it’s not about the main thoroughfare as it is the side roads. That standing on the top of Griffith Park is as equally valid as curling in my comfy bed. That I can learn just as much from people who aggravate me as I can from from the people who inspire me.
That life is meant to be lived. That living means taking risks. That taking risks can mean failing. But failing means learning. And learning means living.
And that I love to see the world through Shannon’s lens. (Sorry! can’t help myself. :) )
Plane and simple, I am thankful for my family, 1st, to my great husband with whom I have been married to (on the 30th) for 20 years. 2nd, to my fun, amazing, and beautiful 4 children, who allowed me to be their mommy. Without these 5 gifts and blessings in my life, I would be nothing.
