nicole + nick :: destination wedding :: catalina island, ca

When I was first contacted by Nicole and she told me that she and Nick  were getting married on Catalina Island I was struggling not to jump up and down with excitement.  I’ve loved Catalina since the first time I visited a few years ago and I couldn’t wait to get a chance to shoot a wedding there.  It’s so pretty and peaceful.  Such a lovely backdrop for a small intimate wedding like Nicole + Nick’s.

Although I had only met Nicole via a phone conversation (they live in northern CA) when I met her and Nick the day before the wedding I just knew they were fabulous!  I was all the more excited to be a part of their amazing wedding day and as you can see, their wedding was nothing short of stunning.

And yes, say it with me, Nick & Nicole… awww :)
