brooke + nick are married! :: calimigos ranch wedding photography

“I already know you will take care of me in sickness and in health.” – Brooke said through teary eyes to Nick in their written vows to each other.  Brooke & Nick were in a horrible horseback riding accident, Nick even broke his hip!  They pulled each other through the pain together & came out stronger than ever.   And then, on a beautiful October day, Brooke and her girls readied at the Westlake Village Inn before heading over to meet Nick & the groomsmen at the always gorgeous Calimigos Ranch in Malibu.

This wedding is the true definition of DIY.  This couple literally did everything themselves.  Brooke hand painted the table “numbers” (they were cities the couple had visited together) & the thumbprint tree guestbook.  She also made all the bouquets and boutonnieres!  Somehow throughout all the blood, sweat and tears of planning a wedding Brooke still managed to looked absolutely stunning for her groom.  Despite any mishaps, this couple was amazingly calm and truly enjoyed every minute of their labor of love.  It was really the perfect day.
