nicholas is 3! :: burbank portrait photography

Nicholas is 3!   Although I can hardly believe I’ve known this little guy since only a few days after he was born and it’s already been 3 full years.  It’s no secret that these clients are regulars, you may remember him (and his brother) from this, this, this, this and this session.  I hardly recognize him from some of these!  I was so excited when his mom said she wanted to focus this session on just Nicholas being 3.  It’s always great to give kids alone time when it comes to photos.  It makes them feel special and we can do so many fun things that we can’t always do when we’re focusing on a family, like capturing a 3 year old just being a 3 year old.   I love that he brought his tools for the fun.  His mom says he loves them so much he even takes his tools to bed with him.  I suppose you never know what may need emergency fixing in the middle of the night!   It was such a blast capturing this little ball of energy and he now calls me “Auntie Shannon” which always melts my heart.
